Woo hoo! Yesterday night, i received a very last minute call to ask whether i want to film today. I agree to it! They told me that i have got a small part of script to be read out. The next morning i woke up at 5am and went out at 6am to meet up with them at 7am. This time round it is not mediacorp filming but outside production filming mediacorp dramas. I took mrt to marina bay and waited at the bus stop for their private location bus to sent me to the location. I have got a dress code so i prepared everything i needed so that they don't have any problems.
We are travelling out to sea!!!! We are going to st john's island to film man!!! I didn't know what and where is st john's island man! The production hire a boat and sent all of us to st john's island! It was a bad morning because its raining heavily!!!! This result to some parts of the filming being delay! The hired boat that only sent our people to st john's island and all the filming equipment is all ready to take out from the boat. The rain is heavy and the wind is so strong!!!The funny part come when the crew was holding the polyform for lighting purpose, flew all down into the sea!!!! LOL!!!!!! Nah, doesn't need to go down to get it because there's no point in doing so.
I got to know 3 other part time friends! They are Cherisse, Benjamin and Salif! Cherisse have got the long part of the scene and while she film her part, we took a rest. What a long rest before its my scene and i read out my lines. I have abit of problem doing so because i am saying out in a tone that i am doing my oral instead of speaking to a friend. Did a few times before its done!!!! After that my scene is finish and its 10 something in the morning!!! Misses the ferry back and have to wait for the next one. I am so damn bored please!!!! Ben and Salif was playing their PSP and later we went around fooling! XD
I was attack by mosquito and huge red ants!!! Damn it man!!!! Lucky the crew got bring insect repellent! What i fear was the hornets i saw flying all around!!!! I always overreact when i saw hornets flying around me!!!!! Shoo please go away!!!! Anyway wah damn scary to see those hornet man! I saw something interesting!!!! The red ants was fighting with the hornet!!!I look up the celling and saw one huge hornet stuck in between the red ants!!! The hornet was trying to get rid of the red ants but the red ants army was too much already!!! The hornet in the end got attack by the red ants until it die!!!! Woo hoo!!!! Lucky it didn't escape and come after my phews!!!
Lunch meal was being delay because one of the staff miss the ferry here. Instead of coming here at 10 something she can only come at 2 something! All of us are famish but lucky the crew have got alot of bread!!! I have got my cookies! =) Michale scene is done and both of us got the tickets to go back but can only go into the ferry at 2.45pm. What a full 2 hours of waiting for the ferry! Michale is a 55 years retired man who have work a total of 30 years and have got 2 daughters one in poly and one in NTU. He is doing part time filming now, we find a good place to rest and he shared with me alot of experience!!!!! The wide range of experience from media to working life and everything was mention to me!!!!! I learn quite alot from him as well!!! As a saying goes, an old man is a wise man!!!!! He also told me quite alot of things that benefits me if i want to work in media line. =) Thank you soooo much!!!!!
YP arrive with all the food and lucky Michale and me got to eat the delicious food!!!Sometime the treatment from outside production team is always better than mediacorp one hahas!!!No offence!!! She pass all the food to the crew and later come back to wait with us for the ferry to arrive!!! This ferry is different from the hired one because this ferry is public instead of private one. The ferry got other stop also man, it bring us to another island and wait for an hour before it go back to the main exit. 3 of us went to the island and see the temple and pray and see the scenery!!!! I have a good chat with Michale and YP, and YP is like damn nice to me man!!!! She told me many things and she will arrange more part time stuff for me in time to come! =) We chatted alot of things as well!!!! Got to know each other better as well! She say i have the talent for acting i will get more all of it. =)! Thank you so much!!!!!!
Thank for the ride man YP! =) Woo hoo!!!! Today is a great day because i got to know new friends, new contacts, new production team!!!!!!! 3 cheers!!!!!! When you gave a good impression to others, you will naturally get all that u need! WOO HOO!!!
I will be paid well for today man!!!!!!Woah, Shocking man!!!! I didn't received such good things like this before!!!! My scene to act for like less than 1 hour, i get such a good pay! Most of the time is free time to do whatever we want ha! =) They will sent me a cheque after sometime. =) WOO HOO!!!! You have the talent, you have the connections, you have what it takes to be, your wish will be granted! WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I will be sleeping with a smile tonight! I am quite tired now! Sat and sun will be for mugging for mom last exams! =)
